Event Planning Committee

Purpose

The Event Planning Committee of SWING PHI SWING is responsible for creating memorable and meaningful experiences that bring our community together. From annual celebrations to special events, this committee ensures every gathering reflects the organization’s values of sisterhood, scholarship, and service.

Initiatives

The committee manages all aspects of chapter events — including budgeting, venue selection, scheduling, and coordination of vendors and volunteers. Each event is thoughtfully designed to celebrate our members, engage the community, and highlight the positive impact of SWING PHI SWING in the greater area.

Our events range from elegant galas and community fundraisers to social mixers and cultural celebrations — all created to foster connection, joy, and unity.

How to Get Involved

Community members, organizations, and local businesses are invited to partner with us in making each event a success.

Collaborate: Work with the committee to co-host community gatherings or themed events.
Sponsor: Provide financial or in-kind support for venues, décor, catering, or entertainment.
Volunteer: Assist with event setup, guest services, or logistics during our signature programs.
Share Resources: Recommend venues, vendors, or entertainers aligned with our mission and community values.
