Community Service
Purpose
The purpose of the Community Service Committee is to identify and organize meaningful opportunities for service within our local and surrounding communities. This committee coordinates member participation in service projects that align with SWING PHI SWING’s mission of sisterhood, scholarship, and community upliftment. Each Sister is encouraged to engage actively in community service activities and report completed hours to the committee.
Initiatives

Develop partnerships with local schools, shelters, and nonprofit organizations.

Organize quarterly service projects focused on education, health, and empowerment.

Promote service opportunities that address issues such as food insecurity, youth mentorship, and women’s wellness.

Encourage members to propose and lead new service projects within their neighborhoods.

Community Impact
Through consistent community engagement, the Community Service Committee strengthens the chapter’s visibility and impact. Our members dedicate hundreds of volunteer hours annually to improving the lives of individuals and families across the region. From mentoring youth to supporting local charities, the committee’s efforts embody SWING PHI SWING’s commitment to social responsibility and service leadership.
